Starting a Multiplayer game is a bit more challenging then starting a Single Player game and the rewards are that much greater. To start a Multiplayer game, just press Enter when you have the selector beside it.

When you select to start a Multiplayer game, you are given several options to choose from:
NEW GAME: You are given the choice of either IPX which is over your local home/office network, or TCP/IP which is over the Internet.
SETUP: Allows you to change your Multiplayer name and also Server Host Name.
JOIN: To join a Multiplayer game (which you can do at any point in the game), select the "Join Game" option and choose what connection type the server is hosted on (either IPX or TCP/ IP). When you select your connection type, you're given the option to search for Local games (IPX) or type in the IP address of the server (TCP/ IP).

The Setup option allows you to change your Multiplayer name and also Server Host Name.

When you click on New Game, you're given the choice of either IPX or TCP/IP. IPX is over your local home/office network, while TCP/IP is over the Internet.

Once you choose your option, you are given some information on the server. For IPX you're given your MAC address, but players will only have to join by seeing your server name. For TCP/IP, you are given an IP address, which is vital for people to join your Internet game.

When you proceed to the next section you're given more options. First, you can choose how many players you want in the game. The next option is choosing what style of game you want to play.
FLOOD CO-OP:
Try and stop massive floods of demons coming through mental openings by destroying the idols that let them in.
CO-OP GAMES:
Team up and play through levels with your friends.
You can select the difficulty for both modes and the Banish and Time limit, which controls how long your game will last. The final choice is choosing the map you want to start with. After you set everything up, go up to "Begin Game" and press Enter. Once you enter in the proper information, just press Enter and you should find a game to join.
